Dr. Adam London co-founded Ventions in 2004, and currently serves as a Managing Partner in the San Francisco office.

Prior to starting Ventions, Dr. London worked as a consultant with McKinsey & Company, serving clients on strategic, organizational and operational topics in numerous industries including electric utilities, non-profit youth services, manufacturing, minerals, and private equity. During his tenure with McKinsey, Dr. London also gained significant experience in operational topics throughout the durable goods manufacturing value chain, as well as in sales, service channel improvement and product development processes.

Dr. London holds a PhD in Aero / Astro from MIT's Gas Turbine Laboratory, having conducted his doctoral research under a DARPA / NASA funded program to provide the first experimental demonstration of a liquid-bipropellant micro-rocket engine fabricated from silicon.  He also holds BS and MS degrees from MIT, and has been a NASA Graduate Fellow funded through Goddard's GSRP Program. He has also participated in the NASA Academy program at the Goddard Space Flight Center, where he received the Director's Award for best all-round Research Associate, and has worked for Orbital Sciences Corporation on the X-34 as well as the TSS-1 mission on STS-46.

Dr. London has been recognized for his work and selected as one of the "XVI Sixteen", a group of sixteen young alumni of MIT's Aerospace Department honored for demonstrating extraordinary accomplishments early in their careers.

Dr. Matt Lehman currently serves as Chief Engineer of Pump and Turbomachinery Products.

Prior to joining Ventions, Dr. Lehman worked as Senior Project Leader within the Delta IV Program Office of The Aerospace Corporation, where he had overall responsibility for all propulsion/mechanical issues on the first stage of the Delta IV rocket for Air Force missions.  He also interfaced directly with United Launch Alliance engineering and internal engineering and lab personnel, and gained valuable component and system level experience encompassing conceptual design, qualification and flight.

Dr. Lehman also worked as Propulsion Analysis Manager at Space Exploration Technologies, with primary responsibility in turbomachinery analysis, design and development testing.  His tenure saw successful flight qualification of the Merlin engine turbopump, and upgrades for increased thrust applications.

Prior to joining SpaceX, Dr. Lehman worked as a Propulsion Engineer for Northrop Grumman, where he was the lead engineer responsible for the TR-108 rocket engine turbomachinery, gaining a broad experience base in analysis, manufacturing, component/vendor selection, and testing.

Dr. Lehman holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from The Pennsylvania State University, and a BS in Aeronautical Engineering from Cal Poly, SLO.  His graduate research, funded by NASA-MSFC, included laser diagnostics applied to mixing/reacting Rocket Based Combined Cycle scale combustors with significant contributions to the NASA CFD database.
